You!!!

One day all the employees reached the office and saw a huge advice on the door on which was written:

'Yesterday the person who has been hindering your growth in this company passed away. We invite you to join the funeral in the room that has been prepared in the gym'.

In the beginning, they all got sad for the death of one of their colleagues, but after a while they started getting curious to know who was that man who hindered the growth of his colleagues and the company itself.

The excitement in the gym was such that security agents were ordered to control the crowd within the room. The more people reached the coffin, the more the excitement heated up. Everyone thought: 'Who is this guy who was hindering my progress? Well, at least he died!'. One by one the thrilled employees got closer to the coffin, and when they looked inside it they suddenly became speechless. They stood nearby the coffin, shocked and in silence, as if someone had touched the deepest part of their soul. There was a mirror inside the coffin: everyone who looked inside could see himself.

There was also a sign next to the mirror that said: 'There is only one person who is capable to set limits to your growth: it is YOU. You are the only person who can revolutionize your life. You are the only person who can influence your happiness, your realization and your success. You are the only person who can help yourself.

Your life does not change when your boss changes, when your friends change, when your parents change, when your partner changes, when your company changes. Your life changes when YOU change, when you go beyond your limiting beliefs, when you realize that you are the only one responsible for your life.

'The most important relationship you can have is the one you have with yourself and the one who cares for you.

Examine yourself, watch yourself. Don't be afraid of difficulties, impossibilities and losses: be a winner, build yourself and your reality.

It's the way you face Life....that makes the difference!!

The Music of our Lives

Music since time immemorial has been around and is the most effective medium in conveying messages and feelings. It is the universal language of man irregardless of race and demographical status. Even in the animal kingdom music serves as their kind of communication to convey feelings and harmonizing to the environment.

As an artist I am always attracted to a good music, when I was younger, the beat and the energy of it all, as I grow older the sympathy and the lyrics got into me and of course the mesmerizing melody, but not to the point that I will be lurking into the mushiness of it all, just hearing Barry white I guess.

Haven’t you noticed that most of the songs/band/music that we like has got to do with the ideals of our life? Things we believe in, things that matters to us, and things that we do and enjoy all has got to do with what kind of music we play on our cd player or listen to the radio? I mean who would’ve wanted to listen to Milli Vanilli if you are an advocate of anti-piracy? And probably if you are a disco fanatic since the 70’s there is a 99% probability that you have in your collection songs of BeeGees and the Gibb brothers. It is called the music of our lives.

I personally like songs of Bob Marley, it speaks for itself without being too political, or Bob Marley have all the reasons in the world to be political after all he came from Jamaica, like my country (Third world country) who endure the blacks and blues of economic and political battles since the dawn of the aggressors.

I am sharing to you especially to those who don’t know Bob Marley, his song and his life. Grab that old guitar and strum your heart out with this Redemption song.

Friendship Songs I most especially like

I have listed some friendship songs that I think is the best and I would like to share with you. Enjoy my list, and please feel free to share any of your favorites that you think are also the best.

1. You've Got a Friend - James Taylor - 1971 This song was written by Carole King and included on her landmark album Tapestry released in 1971. The definitive version was recorded by King's friend James Taylor and his recording of "You've Got a Friend" hit #1 in 1971. It is Taylor's only #1 pop single. "You've Got a Friend" has been recorded many times since by artists ranging from Barbra Streisand to Yemeni singer Ofra Haza. Few other songs come close to this song's simple poignance of friends helping and supporting each other.

2. Wind Beneath My Wings - Bette Midler - 1989This song had a rather humble beginning. It was written by Larry Henley and Jeff Silbar and was first recorded in 1982. Lou Rawls brought it into the pop singles chart at #65 in 1983. Country singer Gary Morris took it into the country top 10 the same year. However, it was Bette Midler's performance of the song as a eulogy for a friend in the movie Beaches that made the song an unforgettable classic. "Wind Beneath My Wings" won a Grammy Award for Record of the Year...

ANGER

Its past midnight,

the air was tight, I’m gasping,

heavy breathing.

I saw him coming...

slowly sneaking...

my heart pounds with excitement,

sweating profusely, my stomach rumbles

here he is at last...

the steel pipe on my hand feels cold

reflects the hardness

at that moment.

i sneak in slowly,

so slow that i can feel the shallow wind

passes in front of my face

thereby making my steamy eyes wink...

one step...

second step...

another step...

I,m just an arms length to him

my teeth gnash in anger

my hand trembles in anticipation

there’s blood

there’s torn flesh in my eyes

gasp once more and i pounded

with all my strength

right to his head

smashing every bit of his skull

i can hear the crack of his bone

as sharp as a lightning

blood ooze...

flesh splattered...

instantly lifeless...

silence...

except for the fainting breath,

as anger subsides

conscience can get callous too

heart can be stone

brain freezes

memory fades

in an instant i am a murderer

it,s not easy to kill

even these low filthy

scum

sewer RAT.
